Next Meeting

Hi All,
What a beautiful afternoon in the new Medicinal Garden, in future to be known as the 'Promised Land Medicinal Garden'. Another good response to our call for fellow carers of health in body, mind and soul.

This week we established a garden bed for the coughs, colds and flu victims. It is a border garden of Peppermint, Yarrow, and Elderberry Herbs with an attractive edging of Comfrey.

The chook tractor was also moved to create another garden bed for us to develop in the future and the move created a large garden bed to be developed at the next meeting.

The meetings will be on the last Sunday of the month.

Next meeting is 24th June at 1pm at the Promised Land site.

Medicinal Garden date change

This Sunday's meeting has to be postponed for 2 weeks.
Our next meeting will be on the 27th of May 1pm, at the Promised Land.
The gathering will still be about your favourite herb and it's qualities.

Next Meeting

Our second gathering for the Healing Garden will again be at The Promised Land on 13th May at 1 pm.

Please bring along your favourite healing herb and some tips on how we can use it.
If you have some spare plants maybe we could get them started in their new home.

Update on Healing Garden

Community members exploring David Pepper's fantastic garden.

This afternoon was a great chance to meet a great group of enthusiastic people who were very keen to share their ideas of a Healing Garden for Bellingen.
Today we looked at the site and discussed our concepts for the garden and brainstormed designs.

The date and time for the next meeting will be posted on this site and will aim to confirm the first plants to be put in the garden.

The  Food Exchange will be held fortnightly on Thursdays outside Kombu in Church Street Bellingen 10.30am to 12.30pm


we exchange produce for all kinds of things and we also have a donation box.
